big thanx to Faith Angler Network here in Central Texas for putting this on... I was glad to be a part of this event.

Almost 500 kids were there, as you can see they had various stations to go through .. (yes even my ugly mug is in there).

FLW pro and local boy Clark Wendlandt was there as well, and a $1000.00 scholarship as well as a ton of prizes were given away.

Jeff,

I can't begin to thank you enough for all your help, support, and prayers that went toward the event on Saturday. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. God used you and your guys in a mighty way.

The smiles on kids (and parents) faces when they caught their first backyard bass, learned what tackle was, hit one of the buckets when casting from the boats, and then actually caught a fish was an incredible reward. My prayer is that this is the first step for many of these kids (and parents) to an understanding of God and His creation and ultimately to a personal relationship with Him. I believe we have lots of new fishermen in Williamson County.
